Nicely located on the water at Marina Mirage (Main Beach), overlooking a stack of rather fancy boats, Ribs and Rumps offers a pleasant outlook for those choosing to sit outside. Indoor diners may not have water views from every table, but there is still a nice ambiance inside.

However, the most important reason to go to Ribs and Rumps is the food. Without question, Ribs and Rumps has the most delicious lip-smacking onion rings served in a paper cone that may well have you dreaming about them for months (if not years) to come.
The ribs themselves come in half and full racks and are very tasty indeed. Expect to have a bib tied around your neck before you tuck into them. This is also good entertainment for fellow diners with you that have not ordered ribs. The bib offers wonderful protection for those wearing white or a material that stains easily.

The eye fillet is tender and tasty, and comes in a variety of sizes The small one is the perfect size for those who want to leave a little room for a shared dessert. The desserts are delicious.

Service is prompt and efficient regarding food. However, most times, you will need to request a second drink, as staff generally don't appear to notice when your glass is empty. There is definitely room for improvement here. But once a request is made, staff are fairly prompt in fulfilling it.
Ribs and Rumps have something for everyone on their menu. Rib lovers will find a variety of ribs to choose from. Steak lovers will find different cuts, sizes and sauces to choose from. The chips that go with the meals are scrumptious.
Overall, Ribs and Rumps offers a very enjoyable dining experience with good food and a nice ambiance. I strongly recommend selecting the ribs or steak, as this is what they do so well (oh, and the onion rings of course). However, even if you don't want red meat, there are other items on the menu to suit all tastes and budgets – enjoy!
