Reid Park

The great thing about Mosman's Reid Park is that it's perfect for parents and kids alike.

The youngsters will be kept amused by the swings, sandpit and climbing equipment, all of which are shaded by sails. There's also a large grass expanse for them to kick a footy, fly a kite or simply run around on. And while little Jack and Jill are going nuts, Mum and Dad can be relaxing on the seats.

Pleasingly, Fido doesn't have to miss out on the action. Reid Park is one of the few public spaces in Mosman where unleashed dogs are permitted, allowing visits to be a true family occasion.

Should you feel like doing a bit of exploring, there's a bushland reserve, where brush turkeys have been sighted, and which contains some of Sydney's fast-vanishing stocks of Coachwood.

Street parking is readily available.
