Real Adventure Women program.
RAW is a Brisbane City Council Active and Healthy Lifestyle initiative offering the women of Brisbane a chance to partake in fun, outdoors activities. These low cost activities provide a safe and non-competitive environment for women to get active and develop new skills.
With eight different RAW programs, there's something to suit everyone. Outdoors enthusiasts will enjoy the Women in the Wild program, while less adventurous women might prefer the relaxing activities offered in the Women Unwind program; sporting and fitness buffs should check out the Women Playing Games and Women into Fitness programs; Women Taking Aim teaches shooting, archery and other related activities; while the Women in the Air, Women on Water and Women on Wheels programs offer a range of activities in their related fields. It doesn't matter if you're an elite athlete or a couch potato – RAW has something for all comfort zones and fitness levels.
All RAW activities are run by fully qualified trainers and instructors. Prices differ depending on the activity. Bookings can be made through the Brisbane City Council or by contacting the activity provider listed in the
program (just be sure to mention that you are booking as part of the RAW program.)
