History buffs and railway memorabilia collectors get on board for a first ever sale day at the
National Railway Museum in Port Adelaide.
The clearance sale will be the museum's very first and should be a huge hit with those looking for a collectible item.
There'll be many items available to buyers on the day - surplus and duplicate railway memorabilia and items such as old station signs, lamps, lanterns, timetables and lots, lots more.
The list of sale items is very extensive, it seems that there will be something for everyone.
In addition to the items on sale from the store rooms of the museum, there will be stalls set up by heritage and not-for-profit groups who will sell their railway themed second hand and home made memorabilia, art, craft and models.
Other attractions that day include mixed-gauge train rides and steam train rides on Bub - steam locomotive
#4 .
It's all set to happen on Sunday the 16th of June from 10am to 4pm at the
National Railway Museum in Lipson Street, Port Adelaide
A special admission price for the day will be only $2 per person (normally $12 per adult, so a huge saving).
If you're into trains and railways, or if you're looking for something different to do with the family on a Sunday that's not going to cost a fortune, then this is definitely an event for your calendar.
