How would you like to hit a few balls on the same courts that have hosted some of the tennis greats?

The Queensland Tennis Centre (190 King Arthur Terrace, Tennyson) is a world class public facility that has been the playing grounds for several international tennis tournaments. Sam Stosur, Leyton Hewitt and Patrick Rafter have all played on these courts and now you can too.

The centre boasts 23 international standard clay, grass and hard court fields that are available for hire; a training program that includes private coaching and classes for beginners through to advanced players; a selection of fixtures, tournaments and leagues for competitive players to test their skills and a pro shop offering re-stringing services plus a cafe and canteen. From novices who have never held a racquet to semi-professional players, the Queensland Tennis Centre has all tennis lovers covered.

The Queensland Tennis Centre is open seven days a week, from 6.30am until 10.30pm on Monday to Friday, and 6.30am until 7.00pm on weekends; the Pro Shop and Strings Cafe are open from 6.30am until 7.00pm seven days a week. While fees apply for court hire and tennis lessons, the centre is open to the public and free to visit.
