Attracting a world-wide audience of around one million people, Brisbane Festival is a major international arts festival that has been bursting onto Brisbane's arts and entertainment scenes every September since 2009. It's set up to showcase all types of Brisbane's performing arts, including music, theatre, dance, opera, circus and major public events such as Sunsuper Riverfire. This year, the Festival runs from 5 to 26 September 2015.

As part of the festival the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) will be playing host to the most incredible range of FREE entertainment. The Front Yard Music – Extended Play will run every day (except Sundays) during the festival on QPAC's Melbourne Street Green (corner of Grey Street), South Brisbane from 5pm to 8pm.

Come along and take up a spot on the lawn and enjoy all this top quality entertainment for FREE.

Front Yard Music – Extended Play allows you to kick back and discover your new favourite music act, dance your heart out or just enjoy the evening soaking up the atmosphere. You'll be entertained with generous helpings of rock, folk, soul, electronica, Latin and jazz by a wide and varied range of talented musicians including;
  • Velociraptor;
  • Sahara Beck;
  • Mosman Alder;
