Surfers Paradise, situated along side Australia's golden coast this is a holiday venture that many tourist and Australian dream of undertaking. Let's say you finally get the opportunity, the gods have smiled upon you and given you a chance to visit this iconic Australian area, sounds like an amazing holiday. But then you realise, "There are so many choices in accommodation, where do I stay to have the best holiday?" When I made the exciting venture I had the same question, now calm your concerns because today I will put your worries and stresses to rest. I am going to give you the best place to stay in Surfers; it is marvels - Q1 Resort and Spa Hotel.

Stone throws away from the actual Gold Coast itself; Q1 has all the features you would want from a top class resort. Known for being the tallest building in the entire Southern Hemisphere, the resort is loaded with amazing features. Spa, 2 grand size outside pools, gym facilities, saunas for men and women, restaurants and bottle shops just a metre away from the doors and of course a 5 minute walk to Cavil Avenue (Surfers main street). These features alone justify why the money spent on this resort is worth it, but the main feature of a resort is the room itself.

The rooms range from small to almost hall like experiences, if you are ready to part with a little cash you could score an amazing memory you will never forget. Personally staying in a smaller room with 4 other friends, the living accommodations were tremendous. From the first point of entry, you see the golden sandy beach and the crystal blue waters from your balcony, looking over the main street of Surfers Paradise and the expansive city surrounding it never gets old. The bathroom and bedrooms are extremely well furnished, along with pay TV inside your own apartment; you will never be bored whilst relaxing after a hard day of enjoying what this city has to offer.

The service is impeccable, any queries or problems experience the polite and friendly staff members are more than happy to help you out and are the experts on how to have the best time in the city. Another amazing feature of the resort is the top floor, situated 902 feet from the ground below is a club for all resort patrons. The view from this location is breathtaking and a view I will never forget, seeing the city at night with the array of lit up buildings below is like watching an army of fireflies in unison, beautiful. Q1 allows you to get chartered buses from the hotels very doorstep to take you to all the theme parks situated within the cities vicinity, this not only makes travel an ease but also allows you to mingle with all the various clientele looking for the same amazing vacation you are, all situated in your very resort.

Costing $276 to stay in a 5 star quality resort for 6 nights is very cheap, being a decent sized room and along with all the special treats and activities the resort allows you to undertake, this price is amazing. This trip was unforgettable due to the quality of our apartment; Q1 Resort knows how to make the experience for those visiting Surfers, a Paradise.

Wow Jamie, I don't know what's more impressive: the amazing hotel or staying in a small room with four other people. Congratulations.
