Q Station is a unique site which was used as a Quarantine Station from 1833 – 1984 and has since been converted into lovely accommodation, which offers its visitors tranquil beauty of Sydney Harbour National Park with the stunning views of the ocean and Sydney Harbour. Q Station is located in Manly, which is approximately 40 minutes from Sydney CBD by car or 30 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay.





Situated approximately 5 minutes by car from Manly Wharf, QStation is much more than holiday accommodation. It features historic meeting rooms suitable for conferences, function rooms for weddings and special events and also the very popular Ghost & Historic Tours.





All rooms include queen sized beds, furnished balcony, overhead fans, heating, refrigerator, flat screen TV, high speed internet access, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and iron & ironing board.

You will find several types of accommodation rooms:

Heritage Queen Rooms
Queen size bed with contemporary décor, balcony with a coffee table, private bathroom next to balcony.

Heritage Queen Suite
Spacious suite with separate bedroom with queen bedding and adjoining lounge room with double sofa bed, balcony and private bathroom next to balcony.

Heritage Queen Suite with Harbour View
Same configuration as Heritage Queen Suite, but with incredible harbour views.

Deluxe Queen Room
Queen bed, balcony with a coffee table and an ensuite bathroom. Overlook the grounds or historic buildings of QStation.

Deluxe Queen Room Harbour View
Same as Deluxe Queen room but with Harbour View.

Deluxe Queen Suite
Spacious suite with separate bedroom and lounge room, ensuite bathroom and over look the grounds or historic buildings.

Retreat Rooms
Feature a separate lounge and bedroom with king size beds which can be split into twin beds. Modern bathrooms with some original features.

Historic Cottages
Three bedroom historic cottages with a living room, kitchenette, share room and backyard. These are available with either Harbour view or Garden view.





QStation grounds let you enjoy many facilities and attractions including swimming and snorkelling at Quarantine Beach, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, bushwalking with incredible vantage points, historic tours as well as harbourside dining.



And if you are looking for even more fun and activities, then venture down to Manly for shopping, bike riding, diving, whale watching or learn to surf at Manly Beach.

For lunch or dinner head over to the Boilerhouse, located on the edge of the harbour. Open from 11am to 3pm Friday, Saturday and Sunday and for Dinner 7days from 6pm.

If you are after a more casual meal, then check out the Engine Room, which is open from 11am till 10pm.

Buffet Breakfast is served in the Views Restaurant and an all day menu is available from 11am to 4pm Monday to Thursday.

Qstation is also popular for its Ghost tours, which have been running for over 20 years. The Quarantine Station is reputed to be one of the most haunted sites in Australia. There are several tours available: Adult Ghost Tours, Family Ghost Tours, Spirit Investigator, Extreme Ghost Tours and Ghostly Sleepovers. If ghosts are not your cup of tea, then enjoy a Quarantine Station Story Day tour or Wharf Wander.

Quarantine Station's history is very colourful and the tours let you go back in time to experience how people who had been quarantined lived in the late 1800s.
