Adelaide's largest metropolitan art show, the , kicks off again on the 29th December for seven days. This exhibition, arranged by the Rotary Club of Port Adelaide has become one of the major events on the South Australian Arts Calendar.

Now in its 28th year the is returning to its traditional roots at the heart of Port Adelaide. The Rotary Club is proud to bring the longest running South Australian community art exhibition back to the centre of Port Adelaide, which for some it has been a long time in coming. The new space for the is the historical Waterside Workers Hall, 11 Nile Street, Port Adelaide, which is the home for one of the most boutique and contemporary theatres in South Australia, the Vital Statistix Theatre Company.

The exhibition features over 1200 paintings and is expecting more than 1000 visitors, and is a nationally recognised event celebrating the arts whilst attracting artists and audiences from all over Australia. The exhibition is proudly sponsored by the Port Adelaide Enfield Council, Renewal SA, Our Port, Vital Statistix Theatre Company, National Railway Museum, Adelaide Impressions, Professional Real Estate Port Adelaide, Port Adelaide Bookkeeping and many other local businesses.

The exhibition is a perfect and affordable activity for the whole family, and being located in the heart of City of Port Adelaide Enfield at the historical Waterside Workers Hall, it allows visitors and ocals to immerse themselves in the Port's Cultural and Tourism Hub during the upcoming Christmas holiday season.

The also provides the perfect promotional platform to enhance local business relations. Doing good deeds in the community and helping those less fortunate is the core business of Rotary, so why not let them tell the community about yours. Local businesses are encouraged to consider sponsoring an Award Prize Winner, and then receive 12 months of e-commerce advertising benefits and the ability to demonstrate their community credentials.

And for exhibitors, a prize pool of around $9,000 is on offer with a first prize of $3,500. The exhibitor's work is also expected to be showcased in front of at least 1000 visitors thus providing valuable exposure. Exhibition categories include: Port and Maritime, Youth 18, 15 & 10, Disabled, Open, People's Choice and new for 2014 Photographic and Multi Media in Canvas.

The calibre of art work submitted from over Australia in recent years has not disappointed, and the exhibition is highly sought after by many local professional artists to judge.
