We have seen celebrities doing it and we have seen fitness fanatics doing and now we can all do it. Yes its pole dancing. Most people's perception on pole dancing may be that it is for exotic dancers only and should not be performed outside of this scenario, but let me tell you that times have changed.

The teachers at Bobbis Pole Studio teach you everything there is to know about working that pole. The beginners' classes will show you the ins and outs of pole dancing and those basic steps that will help you become confident and comfortable with your own body. Bobbis pole studios have classes to suit beginners and those who will gradually work up to becoming advanced students. All courses are $230 for 8 weeks (one lesson a week) or the half term for $120, for those who want to test the waters before giving pole dancing a go. Bobbi has two studios in Sydney one in Miranda in Sydney's south and one in the city. Not to mention her studio in Perth, Singapore and Malaysia.

Pole dancing provides a display of acrobatics and strength combined with a combination of sensual, flowing and feminine dancer movements to form the art of pole dancing as we now know and recognize. If you have ever seen pole dancers perform they make it look real easy but for anyone who's just starting out it doesn't appear to be as easy and graceful as one would hope.

Some of the girls from Bobbis (including Bobbi herself) show off all their moves in Miss Pole Dance Australia each year. Miss Pole Dance Australia is an event that attracts professional pole dancers from all over Australia, competing for the "Miss Pole Dance Australia" title. Anyone can purchase tickets to watch the final show and cheer on the girls. For more information on this you can visit Miss Pole Dance Australia or Bobbis Pole Studio.

If you can't wait until then Bobbis girls perform at Northies Hotel in Cronulla every Thursday night from 7:30pm where you will see two of Bobbis showgirls put on a show.

If pole dancing isn't enough, Bobbi also offers strip tease and lap dance classes. There are lots of smaller classes that can help you along the way like strength and floor work classes. These will help you with your moves and confidence when on the pole. For information on Bobbis classes click here.

Pole dancing is great for fitness and great fun and a good way to feel sexy and confident.
