A new location, a new focus.

Poetic Justice Cafe and Gallery recently moved from its location on Adelaide Road in Gawler to bright and airy new premises on Walker Place, just off the main street in Gawler (right behind Subway) and true to its name, Poetic Justice is not just about good coffee and great food.

Proprietor Gayle has always supported local artists by incorporating a gallery into her cafe, but she has also recently begun to immerse herself in the local poetry scene.

Gayle plays host to a 'writer in residence,' local poet Carolyn Cordon several times a week for poetry reading, discussion and workshops. She also promotes Carolyn's books and welcomes any local writers to come along and enjoy her cafe.

Added to this Gayle also plays host to the 'Eclectic Group' every second Monday evening at 6.30pm. This is a positive networking group that come together to discuss all things health and happiness related.

is open seven days a week from 9am till 5pm and serves delicious hearty breakfasts, lunches and gluten-free sweet treats along with a selection of teas, coffees and cool drinks.

My favourite thing about this cafe - besides the poetry – is the genuine warm welcome and friendly service I find every time I visit.

So if you're a lover of art or poetry or just want a great coffee, a good feed and genuine customer service, I highly recommend the Poetic Justice Cafe and Gallery
