Sitting in front of popular video game consols like the Play Station and Xbox is a hobby enjoyed by millions of people of just about all ages worldwide. Playtime Entertainment takes the video gaming obsession to the next level. To the regulars, this place is referred to as "Playtime" or "the arcade".

Playtime hosts a variety of classic arcade games. Nowadays the popular Super Street Fighter IV Play Station 3 game takes on a glorified role at Playtime. However, not all characters are available on the arcade version.

Unlike traditional arcade boxes with a simple monitor, joystick and controls, Street Fighter is hosted on twin plasma screens. Participants sit down on comfortable black cushioned stools in front of the standard arcade controls. This allows two-player games with each participant enjoying his or her own plasma screen. It sure beats sharing the one television back at home.

Probably the best element of Playtime is collecting tokens and exchanging them for cool prizes. You go around playing your favourite games, and whenever you win the machine spits out a number of tokens. Not every game has this feature. The amount of tokens you win varies immensely. The machines tend to inform enthusiastic arcade players of how many tokens they can win.

Play safe. The arcade doesn't have natural lighting, so it's best to go outside and take a few breaks every now and again.

Arcades can be a lot of fun
