If you are planning a party for a birthday or special occasion and looking for something different for the catering side of things, think about Pizza Parties – Mobile Pizza Kitchen . Pizza Parties - Mobile Pizza Kitchen is a family owned business, been operating since 1983, and they can cater for party's big or small.

Pizza Parties - Mobile Pizza Kitchen is a self-contained Kitchen where all the ingredients are provided and the pizzas are made fresh on-site. The pizzas are cooked fresh and kept hot in a self-serve, heated counter. The catering is no-fuss, easy and relaxed, paper plates and napkins are provided so there is little or no cleaning up afterwards. The friendly people from Pizza Parties will even let you go in and make your own pizza or you can ask for something special to be made. There is a lot of variety on the menu and best of all the pizzas stay hot.

We were invited to a friend's party a couple of weekends ago and it was quite a big 'do' with about 50 people invited. It was a casual affair, lots of family members, kids and friends young and old. I asked if we should bring anything and I was told that all the catering had been taken care of.

It was a cold evening and as the guest arrived so did the food but not in the way we were expecting. A mobile pizza kitchen had been set up in the yard and was happily producing hot, tasty pizza for the hungry guests.

A large tray of assorted pizza slices was brought around as a sort of 'starters' and after that a range of different pizzas were made and placed into the heated, self-serve counter so people could help themselves.

It was a brilliant idea. The food was great and because they kept making fresh pizzas during the evening the food was always hot. There were plenty of different types of pizza too so you could try as many of them as you liked.

There were the usual pizza flavours available, Pepperoni and Ham and Pineapple are always popular, but there were a couple of unusual ones on offer too. The Chicken Curry, which was a bit spicy for me, seemed to be a very popular choice as was the Gambaretto (prawns, ham and pepperoni). Pizza Parties also go out of their way to reduce the fat content of their pizzas by trimming bacon, using low fat pepperoni and ham and always using low fat tasty cheese.

There was plenty of food to go around and some of the guests were quite big eaters. In fact, everybody ate way too much, but it was worth it. The pizzas were fantastic, hot, fresh and tasty. The kids loved it and so did the adults.

All in all the party was a huge success. The Pizza Parties – Mobile Pizza Kitchen was a real hit, a great conversation starter, and something to consider next time you throw a party.
