I remember being a child and looking forward to Saturday afternoon, where my family and I would do the round of markets, starting with Pipeworks.
Pipeworks has been an institution in Melbourne's outer northern suburbs since as long as I can remember. It's your typical market, which offers a huge range of cheap clothing, cheap CDs and DVDs, and of course food, both fresh and takeaway.
The food court at Pipeworks is pretty big, and offers anything from baked potatoes, to chips and potato cakes, right through to salad sandwiches.
In the fresh produce section, you can expect to find every fruit and vegetable you can imagine, as well as reasonably priced fish and meats.
