Pinky Flat is a secluded spot to sit and enjoy the River Torrens, away from the more commonly visited riverbank parks and gardens. It is a nice place with its own special features.
Along the riverbank Pink Flat has trees and some wide open space for the kids to run around. It is a fairly basic park, there are no playgrounds or toilet. The main attraction is its spot by the Torrens River. As Pinky Flat is on the North of the Torrens, facing Elder Park on the opposite river bank, it is less frequently visited and so a visit to this park is likely to be more private. Pinky Flat does feature an electronic barbeque to the east side of the park.
Pinky Flat does have a feature fountain. It is not as decorated as some of the other fountains around Adelaide, but it is still a nice place to sit. During the warmer months the fountain provides a nice cool breeze. You wouldn't want to use it to cool down in any other way. The fountain water looks about as appetising as the River Torrens, so it wouldn't be appropriate for any Summer splashings. But it is still quite a beautiful spot.

If you are around Pinky Flat you can also take advantage of some of the River Torrens walking or running paths. These stretch down the River Torrens, and Pinky Flat is a nice place to start to have a break. You could also easily start up a basic game of soccer around Pink Flat if you were looking at some more ways to keep active.
Overall Pinky Flat is a small Adelaide park with very little amenities. It is a pretty spot, but does not offer too much else. While there are other close by parks with more facilities, Pinky Flat can offer you some peace and quiet.
