So yesterday I tried the turkey baguette from the Pie Face near my work and was pleasantly surprised. Today, I decided to try the ham and cheese baguette.

This baguette was filled with fresh slices of pink ham, cheese, cucumber, tufts of lettuce and was topped with the garlic mayonnaise that I had really liked from the turkey baguette of yesterday.

Again, I found the bread to be fresh - not too soft but not too hard. The garlic mayonnaise was again my favourite part but as I am quite a fan of cheese, I really did like the fact that this baguette included it, whereas the turkey one did not. Again, there was a hint of pepper and the baguette as a whole was light and satisfying.

This time I made sure to remember the price, which was $6.95, which again I believe is a reasonable price for a baguette of its size and taste. The baguette is certainly a healthier option for lunch in the city, and again I was left satisfied by the quality of the baguettes at Pie Face.
