The coffee is taken seriously here with a menu of how strong you prefer your brew prominently displayed in the shop. You can decide on how much you need your caffeine fix with your choices ranging from your tingle my toes (soft blend) to the intense kick my arse (strong, hard blend). Small is $3.00, Regular $3.50 and Large $4.30 with 50 cents extra for soy milk. The coffee is made well, specifically to your preference. This is one of the few stores in the city that really knows (and can be bothered) to create specific strengths of coffee that are tailored to customers' needs. If you are a coffee addict who knows exactly what you want and how you want it, then this is the shop for you.

Now let's get to the topic of the all-important pies of Pie Face. The first thing you need to know is that they are all delightful with crispy and buttery pastry and piping hot fresh filling.

Most pies are on offer for $5.50 each, with the exception of Maxxi Pies – which are larger than normal sized pies and are definitely going to satisfy even the hungriest among us. The Maxxi Shepard's Pie with Mince is on offer for $6.90 and the classic Mince Maxxi Pie is on offer for $6.50.

The Steak, Bacon and Cheese have chunky tender Aussie steak, smoky bacon pieces and tasty cheese in rich gravy. The Chicken and Mushroom has chunks of succulent chicken, slices of fresh mushroom, garlic, chicken stock and fresh cream.

The best one is the Tandoori Vegetable Pie, that features chunky vegetables, crushed tomatoes, garlic and ginger in a tangy tandoori sauce, encased in crispy buttery pastry. It just melts in your mouth.

The staff at Pie Face will serve you in a friendly but fast way and make sure that you get the best value for your money by offering you special deals as they become available. The service is very efficient.

The only negative aspect is the setting, the location is next to the main road and there is not much in the way of seating; it is only three small tables at the side of the store, and although the staff members endeavour to keep this area clean, it can become messy in busy periods. However, if you love a good pie and coffee then this is the shop for you.
