Upmarket is the place you'll find Perth's most talented seamstresses, jewellery makers, cupcake bakers, artists and crafty types. And the first one for 2013 will be held on Sunday March 3 (that's on the long weekend).



You'll be able to browse about 150 stalls in Winthrop Hall at the University of WA between 10am and 4pm. So bring your cash and give yourself enough time to look over all the wares on offer.

The standard of goods at Upmarket (like the market name suggests) is high and stall holders have to actually write written applications to be accepted to sell there. The emphasis is on handmade and quality.



Upmarket has been running since 2008. It used to be run from the Town Hall but moved to UWA in 2010. It's run quarterly but there are also some special wedding themed events and pop-up markets throughout the year as well.
