This is a fun, delicious, educational and hands-on cooking class by free to feed. free to feed is a pop-up cooking school with all classes run by asylum seekers and refugees. This special kids class will be run by free to feed instructor Norisa (a bubbly and intelligent young refugee from Iran) and the superstar co-founder of free to feed, Daniel, who has 15 years experience making education fun.The class itself will be held in a relaxed and social atmosphere and children will gain a sense of achievement when they plate up each dish. After preparing the dishes, children can sit down with their fellow participants, parents/guardians or even grandparents and enjoy a meal of their own creation (coffee and tea will be available for parents and grandparents should they wish to stay for the class). This is a great workshop for all curious children as they will have the opportunity to learn about different cuisines, tastes and flavours and will also meet new friends.Bookings are now open and places are strictly limited to 10 children per class. The next class will be held on: Saturday 23rd of July, 11.00am - 1.30pmThe all-inclusive cost is $60 per child. To reserve your child's place, please visit www.freetomelbourne.org/cooking-classes.For more information on this upcoming workshop series or free to feed, please visit www.freetomelbourne.org and www.facebook.com/freetofeedmelbourne
