Whilst Peregian Springs residents have a Coles at their local shopping centre, and Coolum residents have a Coles and Woolworths within their shopping districts, Peregian Beach residents didn't have a local supermarket, until now.
The residents of Peregian Beach will be ecstatic to know that the Sunshine Coast's newest IGA store, within the Peregian Village Market development on David Low Way, will be opened on Wednesday 21st September 2016 by Noosa's mayor at 10am (during the first week of school holidays).
The new IGA store is owned by Roz and Michael White who have a point of difference offering many local produce and products. Other shops within the Peregian Village Market include a Healthsave Pharmacy and Cellarbrations Bottleshop. The best news is that the Village Market will be open seven days a week, providing residents with both convenience and peace of mind.
Peregian Village Market is built on only 400sqm but will contribute plenty of jobs to the economy once it starts operating. Developed by the Scanlon Group, Peregian Village Market is just the first step. The next part will see the completion of the Essence of Peregian residential project on a further 23,000sqm within the next two years.
