It's a fun family day out again on 20th March, 2010 at the
Penrith City Festival with an estimated 40,000 people wandering down High Street between 10am and 3:30pm on 20th March.
Evidently this Annual festival offers a chance to celebrate the diversity of cultures, talents and interests within Penrith Valley and marks the spirit of the Penrith Community. I say it's a chance to eat some great market food.
The Festival has two stages of entertainment running between 9 and 3.30 pm. There's a variety of performers including solo singers, bands, dance groups, and kids shows as well as a range of roving street performers who will perform amongst the crowd on the day. There is a Street Parade and Madagascar Show too plus a wide range of stalls, local and international food as well as lots of street entertainment, rides and amusements.
