Today we went to Skateworld and it was a lot of fun.

Skateworld is an indoor skating rink where you can rollerblade or rollerskate. Everyone had a great time and it was even more fun with the awesome music playing. My cousins enjoyed Skateworld, however they said it was a bit scary at first because they weren't sure how to skate without falling over.


First when we got there, we got the kids into their right rollerskating shoes and my uncle went around with them for a few times until they felt comfortable. Then they skated on their own with the grip. After they skated for about an hour we had something to eat; we got a $15 entry deal which included a hotdog meal deal. Once we were done eating the kids had another hour of skating.

The skating area was really spacious and the kids even had a grip to skate around the rink properly. Comments from my cousins about Skateworld:

Jemma (6) "Skateworld is SO much fun. I loved it."

Dylan (8) "I liked it very much but I would only come here once a month because I can't skate too well."

Riley (5) "I love it! Take me back! It's so much fun skating!"

As you can see they loved it. Children love trying new things so its good to let them try new activities in life. It is a great place to go during the school holidays and even on the weekend for something fun to do.
