The Brisbane Powerhouse will hold its next on 20 September 2017. The Brisbane provides a relaxed forum for designers to present and showcase their work, skills and ideas in a fun and interesting way. The Powerhouse suggests that guests should expect a social and engaging night out, with fresh ideas, discussion, drinks and a vibrant crowd.

PechaKucha began in Tokyo in 2003. This renowned design presentation format (comprising presenters speaking to 20 slides with 20 seconds per slide) was pioneered by Klein Dytham Architecture. It is patented to keep the presentations concise, inspiring, interesting and to the point. So that means that presentations are fast paced and vibrant, being only 6 minutes and 40 seconds in total. No death by Powerpoint here.

PechaKucha has been described as the real social network where people get out from behind their screen and get to a live event, with real people, real communication, real beer, and real creative fun. Get ready to join the conversation – PechaKucha style
