Locals are invited to come and meet the neighbours and celebrate the opening of the Vale residential community's Belyando Park on Sunday 30 July from 2 – 4pm at the PAW Patrol Doggy Day Out. Bring your furry friend to enjoy some off leash time in the brand new dog park. You can unleash the kids on the state-of-the-art park playground equipment too. The little kids will love the chance to meet Chase and Marshall from PAW Patrol, while dog agility shows, doggy dental checks and pet experts will offer plenty for the parents of fur-babies. This paw-tastic free family event will even have free coffees for the grown ups and free pizza.

Vale is a family friendly residential community in Holmeview near Logan. Developers Stockland wanted to throw the free party to welcome locals and encourage the community to meet at the park. "Everyone loves dogs," the event's representative Hayley told me, "It would be great to just to get locals to come along and bring their dogs, because dogs are part of the family too!"
Hayley also told me that Vale is still a relatively new community. While some people are already living there, some are still building. The million-dollar park was opened last month by council, so now everyone is keen to see it enjoyed by locals. It sets a new benchmark for outdoor play in the Logan growth corridor.
