I did "Shave for a Cure" early this year. I was really disappointed to find my coloured hair wasn't suitable, I was hoping to do 2 good turns from shaving.

I've spoken to a few people since I did this and it seems like the Beautiful Lengths initiative is the most flexible. A friend of mine tried to donate her plaits to a cancer charity a few years ago and was told that they'd only take blond hair!

Good for you for doing Shave for a Cure, that's a really good thing by itself!
