The Paddington Antique Centre has an exciting new display in the front cabinet of beautifully unique and naturally sound Australian handmade decorative hardware cattle horn and chrome plated brass handles.

A timeless range of handles have been produced by combining the natural textures and properties of polished cattle horn with the aesthetic durability of pewter.

Owner of the Paddington Antique Centre, Suzy Baines, said the handles would look great in the kitchen, bathroom and on vintage and antique furniture.

The recycled environmentally friendly knobs fit in the context of timeless old furniture and while they are not old they fit with the ethos of the place and are great because they are Australian made," Suzy said.

Each cattle horn is one of a kind and made of natural resources meaning each cattle horn has unique variations in colour, size, shape, texture and patterns.

The horn and bone material used is a by product similar to leather. It is a renewable resource and its properties and processing make it a biodegradable and an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic.
