Tangled Web Theatre Productions is proudly presenting Jerry Sterner's award-winning play, 'Other People's Money', for a strictly limited season this December.'Other People's Money' originally opened in 1989 and was an immediate hit, running for nearly three years with 990 performances. As well as gaining for Sterner The John Gassner Playwriting Award, it also picked up The Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Play. In 1991 it was made into a hit Hollywood film starring Danny De Vito and Gregory Peck.Today this gripping dramatic comedy is still performed all over the world, however, there has never been an amateur production of it in Australia.'Other People's Money' is set in the cutthroat predator-prey-style business world in which the key players fight for the principle on both sides of a corporate takeover.This upcoming production is directed by John Gauci, who has had over 50 years experience in professional theatre, film and television and will feature Greg Pandelidis as Lawrence Garfinkle; Michael Bate as Andrew Jorgenson; Emma Officer as Kate Sullivan; Edward Kennett as William Coles and Gillian Holley as Bea Sullivan.'Other People's Money' will play at Doncaster Playhouse.Performance times are as follows:December 10 11 12 & 13 at 8 pmDecember 13 & 14 at 2 pm,Tickets are priced at $25 each or $22 concession.To make a booking, please visit www.tangledweb.com.au or email [email protected]For more information on this upcoming production, please visit tangledweb.com.au
