Event:

The popular 'Open Farm Day' returns on Sunday, 2nd April more than 18 farms and local producers across Nillumbik, Whittlesea and the Kinglake Ranges opening their gates!

This is your chance to visit working farms, meet local farmers and discover more about local farming, including alpacas, wine production and fresh produce such as apples and citrus.

You are welcome to follow the trail, or just visit the farms that are of interest to you. The farmers will be happy to talk to you about what it is like to farm on the urban fringe and there will be some fresh produce to sample, as well as activities to participate in at selected farms, including farm tours, demonstrations and more!

Start your Open Farm Day experience with a visit to the Hurstbridge Farmers' Market, Fergusons Paddock, Hurstbridge-Arthurs Creek Road, Hurstbridge, Hurstbridge 3099. Click here to view the trail map.

Present your Open Farm Day Passport at each open farm to collect a sticker. Collect three on more stickers and complete the visitor survey to enter the prize draw. The prize draw includes prizes from Global Ballooning, Kinglake Pub and Funfields!

Make sure to take a snap of you and your family at Open Farm Day with one of the selfie frames. Upload it to social media and tag it with #theartisanhills for the chance to win great prizes.
