It is my humble opinion that all day breakfast is one of the greatest culinary inventions since someone discovered the joyful union of eggs and bacon. , in Sydney's Surry Hills, has made an art form of the all day breakfast.

My partner and I initially dismissed it as an option for our Sunday brunch as it looked too busy, and besides, I wasn't in the mood for an omelette. How very naive we were.

serves so much more than its namesake - though the omelettes do look incredible. The menu is full of a whole variety of breakfast offerings, including banana and caramel porridge, eggs whichever way and breakfast burritos.

Everything is very reasonably priced, the fresh juices and organic coffees are amazing, and to find a matcha latte on the menu was a fantastic surprise!

The staff were very friendly, happy to explain anything, and the food came very quickly. The menu had so many delicious options (including plenty for vegetarians) that it took me longer to decide than it did to eat.

As one of the only places open in the area on a Sunday morning, the cafe is very busy. But even if you have to wait for a table, or get your breakfast takeaway, it's worth the wait.

A two minute walk from Central Station at 99 Devonshire St Surry Hills, is a real find. I'll certainly be visiting whenever I'm next in Sydney.
