A simple establishment in Chatswood. Oliver Brown provides fairly fast service. Ordered a latte and an almond friand. Not bad. The decor and the ambience isn't anything overly special or flash. Just simple cafe food. The staff are friendly, and my food came out to me quite promptly. There are two different eating areas.
I found it unusual that my friand was heated up. Normally when I order a friand (whether it is to eat in or to take away) from any cafe - it is usually served to me at normal room temperature. Why heated, I don't get it? Lesson learnt, never assume anything.
The latte wasn't too bad, yet the coffee machine could have done with a bit of a clean, as my coffee tasted slightly bitter. Not sure why the sugar cups are paper based; especially when it would make much more sense to invest in a few more dollars and have the sugar available at each and every table in a proper glass.
On this occasion I am not an Oliver Brown fan.
