As you walk through the door the first of your senses begin to works, the smell of the wood fired oven fill the air as Karen bakes her hand made pastries.

Then you see golden brown forms being filled with custard, jam and other amazing flavours, golden loaves of bread neatly stacked on the shelves, delicious pies and pasties in the warmer. Wow, I'm making myself hungry as I write this.

Another Historic building transformed into part of Old Petrie Town's charm. house been run onsite for over 10 years, every morning around 4:00am the fires are stoked and the baking begins.

The variety of stores and products that are available at Old Petire Town still amazes me, from Wednesday through to Friday most are open, but when the weekend comes around, the real activity begins.

The weekend markets are a real draw card along with the history of the park, you can make a day of it just wandering around.
I just keep finding more and more things to see and do, that just keeps me wanting to comeback, Maybe it's time for you to discover Old Petrie Town.

Situated on Dayboro Road less than 5 mins from the Petrie Roundabout, this wonderful park will amaze you.

Drop in for a pie at Old Chooks or even a beer at the Heritage Hotel, there is plenty to see and do for all ages.
