Event:
A relaxing way to spend the first weekend of 2016
On Saturday the 2nd of January 2016, the annual Tranquility Fair will take place at Ocean Grove Park from 10am-4pm.

There will be over 100 stalls and activities, including food stalls, natural therapies, and plenty of rides and entertainment for the kids, including face-painting and animal farm.

The fair also features stalls selling jewellery, local produce, clothing, crystals, craft items and much more, with confirmed stallholders including Thairiffic and Harry & Alex.

There will also be live music throughout the day, with performances by Indie-folk group Velvet Bow, the Tides of Welcome Choir, Three Kings and more.

Entry is $3 and free for under 12s. All proceeds go towards maintaining Ocean Grove Park.

Free parking is available in the streets surrounding Ocean Grove Park (Draper Street, The Avenue, President's Avenue and Hodgson Street). There is also a carpark nearby, and an additional carpark near Coles (please note that there's a 2-hour time limit here, and parking officers have been sighted patrolling during holiday season).

There are some shaded areas at the site, however it's still a good idea to take a hat and sunscreen to avoid getting burnt, and a picnic rug for when you want to sit down and relax and enjoy the music.

Come and enjoy a great day out in a beautiful part of the Bellarine Peninsula, located just over 20 minutes from Geelong.
