Obelisk Beach is one of the few beaches in Sydney that allows nudity. Far from prying eyes, bathers are allowed to fully disrobe.
For the shy visitor, it will be heartening to know that Obelisk Beach is completely secluded. Nonetheless, there is a large public
car park situated on the Middle Head Road side of Chowder Bay Road. The footpath is clearly marked, but a certain degree of vigilance is required to spot the stone steps that take you to Obelisk Beach.
