Northside Produce Market

Published January 12th 2009
On the third Saturday of every month the Northside Produce Market springs to life on Miller St in North Sydney between Ridge St and McLaren St.

Between 8am and 12 noon over 60 stall-holders sell all kinds of produce including meat, cheese, seasonal fruit and veg, fish, sweets, bread, coffee and more.

The markets are held next to, and spill over into, a pretty little park, and the quality and variety of the produce on offer is outstanding.

Here is a cute picture of the markets and park.

The earlier you get there the more stock the stall holders will have for you to choose from so try not to arrive too long after 9am if you can help it.

Having said that I also enjoy arriving at 11.30am, buying a few yummy things and then retiring to the park for lunch. If you can get up early enough I guess you could also do brunch and still have lots to choose from. Hmmm, not such a bad idea!

Why? Yummy Yum Yum.
