The summer is here and what better way to ward the heat off than a swim in one of the most uniquely located public swimming pools. The North Sydney Olympic pool is located right next to
Luna Park in Milsons's Point under the shadow of the Harbour bridge.
The
Olympic pool facilities comprises of a 50-metre heated pool, gymnasium, sauna, spa, indoor 25-metre pool, and cafe. Customers can pay per visit or take up a membership package that suits them. There is ample parking available and it is free of you come for a swim. There is even a creche, which operates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
During summer months the temporary roof is removed and while swimming you can just gaze up to see the Harbour bridge right above. The pool has a lovely art deco fresco of dolphins and birds and has been the place where a lot of world records have been broken.
Other facilities like Aqua Aerobics classes, swimming classes, trainers, gym instructors, yoga classes, kids pool parties, swim accessories and much more is available at the complex.
