Did the title capture your attention? Nothing excites me more than the idea of two of my favourite things coming together as one – great music and great food, and with this year's upcoming Noosa International Food and Wine Festival, I believe my dreams comes true.

With some of the world's most prominent chefs, winemakers, food personalities, media and foodies in attendance, this year's International Food and Wine Festival of Noosa looks to be an exciting one. Dubbed the Culinary Event of the year, the festival includes four action-packed days featuring lifestyle exhibition, food trails, cooking demonstrations, concentrations and much more.

The most intriguing event for couples and families alike so far looks to be the Gala Opening Night, themed "Edible Music". A unique concept for an event, wherein the music world meets the culinary world. The Queensland Virtuosi Orchestra serenades you with a concert as they present 10 chefs from 'S. Pellegrino World's Best Restaurants' list. On the website they describe what to expect of the event: "Once seated for the concert, each dinner patron will receive a special box of ten canapés. Our S.Pellegrino chefs, in pairs, will conduct a theatrical demonstration of their respective canapés synchronised to the music, culminating in a surprise finale".
