New Year's Eve 2016 at Paradise Point

As another year comes to a close you will want to celebrate with family and friends. Where else can you watch and listen to an incredible lineup of entertainment (all free and should I say stress-free)? Swim, relax and socialise? Not to mention, bbq or picnic in the park? Paradise Point of course. I think I have said it before, but this is certainly the best family place to be to celebrate NYE.



Starting early at 3.30pm the kids will be entertained with the family movie "Ice Age 4 - Continental Drift" being broadcast on huge LED screens near the kids play area.

Live music on the main stage will commence from 5.00 p.m., with party band, White Chocolate, Duo Diva, the "Stars of Tomorrow" and the Shooting Stars singers and dancers. You will want to check out drumming sensation "SoundStruck" as they belt out percussive rhythms on colour and water displays.There will be a parade of stilt walkers, fire twirlers, clowns, dancing dragons and free face painting for children. Restaurants and food outlets will also be open on the Esplanade. Need I say great fish and chips and ice-cream!

Of course, the highlight is the absolutely amazing fireworks, a massive synchronised fireworks display set to music.

For those with a boat, drop the anchor in the broadwater, relax, feast, soak up the atmosphere and take in the fireworks. Just perfect!

Fireworks @ 9.00 p.m
