In celebration of , three Ballarat organisations are coming together to commend the gold standard in cancer care.

Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre (BRICC), Ballarat Austin Radiation Oncology Centre (BAROC) and Sovereign Hill are coming together to mark the week with various activities from 3 to 8 November.

It will provide an opportunity to educate the community and celebrate the vital role of radiographers and radiation therapists in the provision of healthcare.

Throughout the week, The Sovereign Hill band will be in fine form, performing at various times and busking in the centre's atrium on 6 November to raise funds for The BRICC Wellness Centre.

Two red coat soliders will be guarding the entrance to BRICC and radiation therapists will be in 1850's costumes typical of the era.


The "Ye Old Lolly Shoppe" will allow visitors to purchase their favourite Sovereign Hill boiled sweets with all proceeds going to the centre.

Come along to '' and experience a taste of the gold rush with Sovereign Hill, as BRICC and BAROC continue to deliver health care in Ballarat.
