Narmbool Gardens Open Day

Event:

This Sunday the 10th of November, Narmbool is hosting a special Open Day event and all are welcome to attend and participate in the festivities. This is a great opportunity to discover the historic homestead and English-style gardens, which were established in the mid 1800s. Today the property is owned and operated by Sovereign Hill and is the backdrop for recitals, concerts and weddings.

There will be many activities and events for all to enjoy on the Open Day, including guided tours of the Arbour & Rose Walk, the Ponds and the Wayaperri Garden. There is also a fun competition that the children will love to participate in; Narmbool is asking visitors to suggest names for their three giant snails - the winner will be rewarded with a Sovereign Hill hamper!

Lunch will also be served; there will be a sausage sizzle onsite, or you can make a booking to take part in the lunch sitting. To register your interest, please phone 5329 2393 or email [email protected].

On the Open Day, the Narmbool Gardens will be open to the public from 10pm to 4pm and Sovereign Hill members will receive free entry. Otherwise the entry fees are as follows: Adult $6; Child $4; Under 5 free entry; Family (2 A 4 Ch) $20 and Single Family (1 A 3 Ch) $10.

For more information on the Narmbool Gardens Open Day, please visit the Sovereign Hill website.
