Chris Karageorge - I drink, I eat, I leave.
Published July 14th 2011
In a time where getting a good coffee is hard.
In a place where cafes line the streets.
In a place that needed a breath of fresh air, Nabiha came and made everyone smile.

Nabiha have been out of the starting gates for just over a year now and they are consistently consistent and always amazing.

The terrific trio behind the counter are warm and friendly, always making you feel like you're a part of their family.

Great music accompanies a great vibe. How many places make everyone comfortable enough to comment on someone else's meal and then start a conversation with them? Not many.

You can sit inside at the tables or on the counter facing out to the street. If the weather is nice enough, take a seat outside and smile at people walking past. Smile because you have a great coffee in your ceramic cup and they have no idea of the joys that your tongue is going through.

Much like the customer service, the food has the same way of giving you a warm welcome. The baked eggs with chorizo give you that feeling that everything is OK in the world. You could be sitting here on a Sunday and not be saddened by the fact that it's Sunday because of the great hug the food is giving you.

The double espresso is perfect. Slightly salted toffee-like caramels with a good solid body. The right kind of curvature in its flavours bundled with an unchallenged silky texture.

If my purple prose, abundance of adjectives and poetic misuse don't convince you to come here then maybe this next line will...

If you never come here you will never know what good coffee in Moonee Ponds tastes like. Bold statement? I stand by my words.
