When it comes to great little parks is surely right up there. While Melbourne is fortunate to hold a number of great beaches and big parks, so too are these little parks in the suburbs equally great.

For those who seek to get the kids outside on the weekend but feel one of the bigger parks may be filled to the brim for a local football match, a place like Myrtle Road can be a perfect fit.



In so far as amenities go this green space is pretty straightforward. A train, swing, and slide. Yet, it is nonetheless filled with much charm. This all the more so with the beautiful trees that surround it, and its presence in a quiet suburban street offering any who visit the chance to play away from the bustle of a major road or shopping centre.

All up, is one of those little spots in Melbourne that may appear unassuming at first, but quickly become a family favourite after the first visit.
