Mummy: Secrets of the Tomb, coming to Brisbane this April.
Embark on the journey of a lifetime to Ancient Egypt at the Queensland Museum in Southbank opening its doors to the public on April 19.
This spectacular exhibition coming straight from the British Museum reveals the life and death of an Egyptian priest, Nesperennub, who lived almost 3,000 years ago.
British Museum's prized treasure, Nesprennub's mummy has remained intact and untouched unlike many other Egyptian mummies.
The exhibition tells his story and is shown through a stunning 3D film with the exhibition showcasing more than 100 objects including amulets, canopic jars used for preserving the liver, lungs, stomach, and intestines of the deceased, sections from the Book of the Dead and four exceptionally preserved mummies.

The exhibition runs from April 19 – August 19.
Tickets for the Mummy: After Dark sessions is an 18 years and over event, tickets are $25 dollars per person.
