If you are visiting the Big Banana, why not incorporate a visit to a glorious lookout. Showcasing the Coffs Harbour Region and beyond, into the Valley overlooking the Great Diviiding Range.

[

Mt Sealy is a quaint lookout on a suspended wooded bridge overlooking Coffs Harbour and its neighbouring suburbs.

While taking the slightly windy and twisting road, make sure you soak in the views of the coastline of Coffs Harbour's supreme beaches and the huge banana plantations just behind the Big Banana.

Take a picnic lunch or take a leisurely drive to the lookout If you have an hour or more spare, this is just the place to visit. Mt Sealy delivers a beautiful lookout and picnic area with the odd goanna as a visitor.

The drive through the famous Coffs Harbour Banana Plantations are impressive. The roads are for the majority of the way dirt roads that are no hassle for 2wd being at the top of the mountain ridge. We went on a hazy day and still got a great view. Don't forget your camera and binoculars!

The viewing platform has description boards showing you what you are looking at.
