If you are thinking of taking the kids to see a movie these school holidays, think about seeing these films.

Despicable Me 2 - If your kids loved the little yellow minions, funny but evil Gru and the three little orphan girls in part 1 which was released in 2011, then they are going to laugh their heads off at Despicable Me 2. It's funny, heartwarming and a good story line.

Children aged 5 and up will love it.

Monsters University - Come back and watch the old gang, before their monster scaring days where they go to university to learn how to be a good scary monster. Anyone who watched the first one should definitely go and watch the prequel.

Kids aged 7 and up will love it, and of course any teenagers that saw the first one back in 2002.

After Earth- If you've got kids who are 15 and over, take them to see the cool film After Earth, starring Will and Jaden Smith.

The duo pair up to face their fears. It looks like a good film. I will be taking my 16 year old nephew to see it on the school holidays.

The Internship - Not a movie suitable for young eyes, but for the adults out there that want to go see a movie while the kids are sleeping over at grandma's on the holidays, this is a good one to go see.

Very funny, witty and creative, it's about a team who are interns at the Google company and are given a list of challenges to complete in order to gain full time employment at Google Headquarters.
