The Yarra Valley is the perfect place to spend a summer evening under the stars
From December 16 until the end of summer, Rochford Wines in the Yarra Valley will be playing host to movies under the stars in the winery gardens.
The Iron Lady - the story of Margaret Thatcher - will premiere at Rochford Wines this summer
There are some new ones being screened, such as Red Dog, Midnight In Paris, and New Year's Eve, as well as some old favourites like The Rocky Horror Picture Show and a Grease sing along. The Muppets will even be screened on Monday 9th January as a CFA fundraiser.

Throughout the summer, evening movies will start at 8.45pm, however the gates will be open from 6.00pm. Movie goers are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs, as well as a picnic from home. As the venue is licensed, no BYO alcohol or soft drinks are permitted, but wine, beer, soft drinks and food will be on sale at the cellar door from 6pm until 9pm. Rochford Wines is an easy one hour drive from Melbourne CBD,
located at 878 - 880 Maroondah Hwy, approximately thirty minutes from the Ringwood Bypass on the Eastlink.
Ticket prices vary. A basic admission is $24 (concession $21) and includes entry, free parking, the movie as well as a level one food/drink voucher. A Vintage admission is $38 (concession $35) and includes entry, free parking, the movie and a selection of food and beverage choices. The biggest and the best deal, the Grand Cru Experience is $59.50 per person and is only sold in pairs. It includes entry, free parking, the movie, a reserved table and a beautiful epicure hamper complete with a bottle of local Rochford wine (red or white) and a selection of sweet and savouries to enjoy during the movie.
