Hi, thanks for this article. I've been to Mt. Warning twice already (day hike and sunrise hike- both were last year), but I'm planning to go back for my third.. This time with no one but myself. I'd like to do it for my 25th birthday on Friday. I'm just scared of possible encounter with snakes.. any additional tips? Thanks! :)

Hi, Late birthday wishes, hope you had a great day. Did you do the climb on your birthday? There must be plenty snakes in the undergrowth but we probably made too much noise so they heard us coming a mile away : ) My tip would be to take chocolate for the top! Hope you had fun. Susan.
