On our way to a weekend away in the Blue Mountains we stopped off at the lovely Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. I was so glad we did because as we were meandering around looking at all the pretty flowers and weird and wonderful plants I saw these lovely bright red poppies and they made my day.
If you're on your way up the Blue Mountains or would just like a little day trip outside the city then I definitely recommend stopping at Mt Tomah Botanic Gardens. And if you're a bit peckish they also have a cafe with a beautiful view.
