When you’re looking for unique gifts or a fun day for the family, there’s nothing like a stroll through an art and craft market. It’s even better when you find one without the bustling crowds, like the
Mosman Village Art and Craft Market.
The Mosman Village Art and Craft Market is open on the first Saturday of the month between February and December from 8am to 3pm.
It holds 150 art and craft stalls offering hand-crafted toys and vivid artwork by local artists, as well as gourmet foods, jewelery and fine garments. When my legs need a little rest, I grab a snack from the array of gourmet food stalls, find a seat near the fountain or the park and soak in the musical entertainment.
This market is great for families as well as adults just wanting a pleasant day out. Once you're finished with the markets take a stroll through the quaint alleyways filled with nostalgic cafes and the row of popular shops on Military Road for a fashion fix.
Parking can be found on the nearby streets such as Myagah Road, Vista Street and The Crescent. There’s also a council car park, entrance at Vista Street. Most parking is free but limited to 2 hours.
