Mark November 20th in your calendar for that is the day the will be held. (You may remember it's previous name, Caboolture Multicultural Festival). It has been relaunched and rebranded for 2016.

The Fiesta has been running for the past 12 years and is the largest such event in the region and the only one north of Brisbane.

Each year the Fiesta has showcased the food, talents and culture from all around the world and aims to bring awareness of how diverse the Moreton Bay population is with people coming to the region from all parts of the globe.

There will be free entertainment, rides for the kids, cultural stalls and fireworks to complete the evening, the festival really is a jam-packed celebration of our multicultural society. The Workshops and other activities also encourage families to get involved and fully immerse themselves with the cultural experiences. This festival stimulates the sights, sounds and tastes of nations around the world. It is a festival that brings everyone together.

The entertainment has a diverse line-up, which includes ethnic backgrounds of: African, Colombian, Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Tahitian, West Sumatra, Rom Gypsy, Aboriginal Australian, Mexico, Philippine, Chinese and Indian.

The Festival is especially excited to welcome back Joe Tee & Afrodisa Band who are an African/ Caribbean dance group that never fail to get audiences up and dancing!

There will be a range of food stalls offering delicious foods that many don't get to experience in their every day lives. The organisers are very excited to have Taste of Mesopotamia at the festival who serve pistachio coffee, traditional Turkish coffee, apple tea and sweets! Do come along to test your taste buds!

The organising committee and volunteers are working tirelessly, and they work tirelessly. The Committee is particularly grateful for the support and encouragement from their community and their sponsors, including the Moreton Bay Regional Council.

The Fiesta will be held on November 20th from 2 pm to 7 pm at the Pine Rivers Park, 125 Gympie Rd, Strathpine.
