Back by popular demand is the
Moonlight Cinema, an open air movie theatre allowing patrons to enjoy new release cinema under the stars.
The Moonlight Cinema is open from Wednesday until Sunday throughout summer in
New Farm Park. In addition to recent blockbusters like
The Social Network and
Eat Pray Love, the cinema will also screen cult classics and old favourites such as
The Rocky Horror Picture Show and
Breakfast at Tiffany's.
Tickets are $16 for adults and $14 for concession holders, although Movie Club members receive a discount. Visitors can bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks, or may purchase provisions from the gourmet snack bars and licensed bar. Bean bag beds are also available for hire.
